Pit Fired Ceramic Burner

Dimensions: 8,5 x 8,5 cm

This piece was first applied with white Terra Sigillata, a primitive glaze type material used to seal the clay and bisque fired at 920 degrees. Then it was finished in Pit Fire where the colouring occurs randomly by the black smoke absorbed through the slow burning smokey fire.
